Retirement - peaceful, sun-kissed days pottering in the garden... Not in the Nobbs household! When Connie's husband, Albert Nobbs, retires from work, all hell breaks loose. He's bored, he's frustrated, his cholesterol's sky-high, angina has kicked in and his wife's nagging the hell out of him. However, Albert's life is turned upside-down with the sudden death of Connie.
Connie's constant nagging continues from 'beyond the grave' as she re-appears and sets about matchmaking her forlorn Albert with her best friend Rose!
A bitter sweet story of love and loneliness, hope and despair, as Albert now struggles to come to terms with the loss of the woman he loved and a possible new romance!
A comedy by the award-winning playwright that brought us Dead Fish and Like a Virgin.
