Empirical have received numerous accolades for their musical creativity and irresistible presentation, including the 2007 EBU Jazz Competition at North Sea Jazz Festival. They combine brilliantly to perform their distinct and absorbing style of contemporary Jazz.
Over the past four years Jay Phelps, Nathaniel Facey, Kit Downes, Tom Farmer and Shaney Forbes have forged an enviable reputation and are one of the best young Jazz bands in the country.
Individually, they have worked with some of the biggest names in Jazz including Doncaster's very own Dennis Rollins, Courtney Pine, Soweto Kinch, Abram Wilson, Steve Wilson, Byron Wallen and Tim Garland amongst others. This promises to be an intimate and exhilarating night. Don't miss it.
