Natalie Clein won the BBC Young Musician of the Year when she was 16 in 1994, and in the same year was the first ever British winner of the Eurovision Competition for Young Musicians in Warsaw. She has performed extensively since then and has recorded several albums with EMI, most recently the Elgar Concerto made famous by the legendary 1965 recording by Jacqueline du Pré.
Natalie has a very distinct kind of appeal, mixing an astonishing musicality, a combination of supermodel and girl-next door, a refreshingly approachable and immediate stage presence and a passion for reaching new young audiences.
We are thrilled to welcome Natalie to the festival for an intimate evening of beautiful music featuring a selection of Bach, the Kodaly Sonata and a newly commissioned piece.
Book early to avoid disappointment.
