In 2007 an official Channel 4 survey of the 100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time placed Stewart Lee at number 41. Hence the title of his new show - '41st Best Stand-up ever.'

His mother, whom he loves dearly, thinks Tom O'Connor the better comedian, having seen him do a joke about a sardine on a cruise ship ten years ago - and he isn't even in the Top 100...

Stewart Lee started performing stand-up 20 years ago. In the 1990's he wrote and performed in various BBC radio comedy shows, including Fist of Fun with Richard Herring, and On the Hour with Steve Coogan and Chris Morris. He is probably best known for his BBC2 series Lee and Herring and for co-writing and directing the critically acclaimed and Olivier award winning stage show 'Jerry Springer - The Opera'.

We are delighted to welcome Stewart to Doncaster for the very first time for an experience that is razor sharp and achingly funny. Miss it and you'll regret it!

Over 16 only.
